Manchester City move on to the next round of Women Champions League

Manchester City edged out Tomiris-Turan in a fantastic win on Thursday, 6x0, in a match relating of the Women Champions League. Both Gareth Taylor's team and Pyotr Pak's team held their first game in the competition. Khadija Shaw was the man of the match.

Khadija Shaw opened the score in the 4th minute. After 21 minutes, forward fired home Manchester City second goal. With 45 minutes already played, Lauren Hemp doubled the lead for Manchester's team.

With 82 minutes on the clock, Gareth Taylor's team extended their lead with a goal from Vicky Losada. In the 89th minute, Manchester City increased their lead with a goal from Deyna Castellanos from the penalty spot. In an unlucky moment Aytac Sharifova scored an own goal in stoppage time.

Thanks to this result, Manchester City are through to the next round of the competition. In relation to forthcoming league matches, Gareth Taylor's team will host Real Madrid. Meanwhile, Tomiris-Turan will play away against Sturm Graz.
