Stuttgart stumble to defeat against Wolfsburg

Wolfsburg triumphed over Stuttgart, 3x2, on Saturday, in a game related to matchweek 8 of 1. Bundesliga. In this competition, both teams came from a defeat.

The first goal of the game was scored by Sehrou Guirassy, with a left-foot shot, in the 22nd minute. After 23 minutes, Omar Marmoush fired home for Wolfsburg, with a right-foot shot from outside the penalty box, after a pass from Jakub Kaminski. In the 38th minute, Maximilian Arnold struck the second goal for Niko Kovac's team, with a left-foot shot from outside the box, supplied by Paulo Otávio. Stuttgart scored their second goal of the game through Kostas Mavropanos, shortly before the interval, from a corner, assisted by Pascal Stenzel.

In the 76th minute, Kevin Paredes came on. With 90 minutes on the clock, Yannick Gerhardt netted the final goal of the game, with a right-foot shot inside the penalty box, set up by Mattias Svanberg.

After the result Wolfsburg are 13th in the table, with 8 points, while Stuttgart sit 16th place, with 5 points. In relation to forthcoming league matches, Wolfsburg's team visit FC Augsburg, whilst Stuttgart's team will play at home against 1. FC Union Berlin.
