Sundowns defeated CR Belouizdad in a close win on Saturday, 2x1, in a match relating to the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League. Rhulani Mokwena's team beat Nabil Kouki's team, 4x1, in the first leg of the tie.
In the 24th minute, Mohamed Bouchar opened the scoring for CR Belouizdad. Shortly before the interval, Themba Zwane struck for Sundowns.
Thapelo Morena scored the winner after 49 minutes.
With this result, Sundowns are through to the next round of the competition.
