Benfica beat Rangers

Benfica defeated Rangers, 2x3, on Tuesday, in a match relating of the Women Champions League. Kayla McCoy was on fire.

After 25 minutes, Kayla McCoy opened the scoring for Rangers, through a header inside the box, fashioned by Brogan Hay. In the 38th minute, Ana Vitória fired home for Benfica, with a left-foot strike inside the penalty area, after a pass from Cloé Lacasse.

Filipa Patão's team scored their second goal of the game through Ana Vitória, after 56 minutes, laid on by Andreia Norton. Ana Vitória now on a scoring streak of 6 consecutive games. With 58 minutes on the clock, Kayla McCoy fired home Malcolm Thomson's team second goal, assisted by Nicola Docherty. In an unfortunate moment Victoria Esson scored an own goal after 78 minutes.
