Charleston Battery thrashed by Hartford Athletic

Hartford Athletic defeated Charleston Battery, 6x3, on Saturday, in a match relating to the Grp.A of the USL Championship. Andre Lewis made a great performance with 3 goals and 1 assist.

The opening goal was scored by Ariel Martínez after 10 minutes. With 13 minutes on the clock, Andre Lewis doubled the lead for Hartford Athletic. Shortly before the interval, Hartford, CT's team extended their lead with a goal from Juan Obregón Jr.. With his 5th goal of the season.

In the 51st minute, Andrew Booth struck for Charleston Battery, assisted by Romario Piggott. Charleston, SC's team scored their second goal of the game through Aidan Apodaca, with 53 minutes on the clock, laid on by Leland Archer. After 57 minutes, Tab Ramos's team increased their lead with a goal from Andre Lewis. In the 79th minute, Augustine Williams fired home for Conor Casey's team, laid on by Fidel Barajas . In the closing stages of the game, Andre Lewis completed the hat-trick, from the penalty spot. With this strike, Andre Lewis reached 6th goals for the season. Ariel Martínez netted the last goal after 90 minutes.
