In the 23rd minute, Sparta Praha saw Ladislav Krejci II get a straight red card shortly before the interval, Yusuf Yazici opened the scoring for Lille, with a left-foot shot from outside the penalty box.
After the break, Borek Dockal struck for Václav Kotal's team, with a right-foot shot inside the penalty area. After 60 minutes, Yusuf Yazici fired home Christophe Galtier's team second goal, through a header inside the penalty box. With 66 minutes on the clock, Lille increased their lead with a goal from Jonathan Ikoné with a left-foot shot. Yusuf Yazici completed the hat-trick, with a left-foot strike from outside the box, after 75 minutes.
In the next fixture, Lille will play at home against Celtic, whilst Sparta Praha will play away against Milan.
